Diagnostic Radiographers produce and interpret images of the human body. Diagnostic Imaging is central to health care and is critical in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma and disease. GCU s Diagnostic Imaging qualification is recognised worldwide and allows you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society and College of Radiographers. Most of Scotland s Diagnostic Radiographers graduate from GCU, equipped with the knowledge, competencies and attributes needed to practice in the modern health and social care services. You will have access to a dedicated x-ray suite that simulates practice. An elective placement at the end of Year 3 provides the opportunity to study abroad.
